Zwinky.com is an online virtual world for members to interact with their Zwinky avatars. Like other virtual worlds, members can chat with other members (Zwinkies), play games to earn money (Zbucks), and can explore their world (Zwinktopia).

The virtual money earned in playing games can be used to purchase clothes and other accessories for Zwinkies.

Members can also purchase dormrooms for their Zwinkies, and may pay using their Zbucks or Zcard (a Zwinky debit card which can be loaded with cash using PayPal).

To join Zwinky.com, members must install a Zwinky Toolbar on their browser, which has been known to annoy members (since they have complained about spyware).

Demographics
Zwinky.com has about 2 million visitors from the United States each month. There are more females (65%) online than men.  And the site has many more young visitors (18 to 24) than any other age range. 67% of members are Caucasian, and 18% are African American.
