Multiply
Multiply.com is a social networking site that allows members to blog, post photos, videos, music, and review whatever interests them (e.g. movies, music, books, etc.). Each member has their own page on a sub domain of multiply.com.
Each member has free unlimited storage space to upload all of their digital content for free. Their profile pages are open to anyone, and their digital content (like photos and music) can be shared with anyone as well. There is no need to “friend” the person in order to view a member’s digital content like in Facebook or LinkedIn.com.
Newsfeeds
The site has a newsfeed which allows members to find out what others have done on the site. This helps keep members engaged with each other – and helps them keep track of what blogs, pictures, and other activities their friends are doing on multioply.com. These newsfeeds are regulated and filtered, so that members can control what feeds they see. These feeds can also be viewed on a member’s mobile phone.
Profile Pages
The profile pages can be customized by each member and can look very similar to a MySpace page.
Groups
There are hundreds of groups for members to join, and these groups are categorized under Business, Computers & Internet, Cultures & Community, Entertainment & Arts, Friends & Family, Games, Government & Politics, Health & Wellness, Hobbies & Crafts, Money & Investing, Music, Places & Travel, Recreation & Sports, Religion & Beliefs, Romance & Relationships, Schools & Education, Science & History, and Other.
Blogs
Blog posts on Multiply.com can be published in a variety of ways. For example, access to a blog post may be shared in four ways: (1) publicly: so that anyone can see it; (2) network: so that only members in your personal network can see it; (3) contacts: so that only specific contacts in your network can view it; or (4) individuals: open to only some individuals you want to see it.

Migente.com averages about 800K unique monthly visitors in the United States, and attracts an educated Asian demographic. There’s an equal male to female ratio. As of August 2007, the site has over 6 million users.
