Flixster.com is an online social network for movie fanatics.  Flixster members can develop their own profile, review movies, rate movies and actors, view celebrity photo galleries, watch videos, and read about movie news.

Flixster claims to have over 50 million members and over 1 billion movie ratings in their network.

Profile Pages
The profile pages list basic information about each member, but then devotes most of the page to the reviews and ratings given to movies by the user.

Ratings
The site makes it very easy to rate movies by giving it a vote (by selecting stars) and writing a brief review in a small textbox.  While rating the movie, members can see the average rating given by other members along with an average vote given by friends in his or her network.

Flixster.com has a little over 2 million unique visitors a month – with the majority of visitors coming from the United States and India.
