Baddo.com is a social networking site based in London, and is completely ad-free.  Members may share photos, videos, and text with each other.  They can also create “reportages” – which are ways to share with other members what’s happening in their life through these various media.

The site makes money when members pay a fee through the “Rise Up” feature, which gives members popularity and prominence in the site for a short period of time.  Apparently, 20% of the sites’ members use this service once a month.

Membership statistics vary, so the site may have anywhere between 10 and 12.5 million members – with most members in Latin America and Europe.
